Recently, CICO held a centralized signing ceremony for the Tabola Central Business District Road Upgrading Project and the Mbeya Municipal Road Upgrading and Drainage System Extension Project with the Tabola Municipal Council and the Mbeya Municipal Council at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Center in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, marking the successful bidding of two municipal road upgrading projects by the CICO in Tanzania.
 
       It is reported that the contract amount for the Tabola Central Business District Road Upgrading Project is $7.08 million, with a contract period of 15 months; and the contract amount for the Mbeya Municipal Road Upgrading and Drainage System Extension Project is $9.29 million, with a contract period of 15 months. The funding for both projects is from the World Bank. The completion of these two projects will significantly improve the traffic conditions in Tabola and Mbeya, accelerate local economic and social development, improve the quality of life for residents, and lay a solid foundation for the company to undertake subsequent engineering projects.
 
       The signing of these two municipal road upgrading projects is the result of the deepening cooperation between the CICO Tanzania company and the Tabola Municipal Council and the Mbeya Municipal Council based on the two bases of Tabola and Mbeya. CICO will continue to implement the new development concept, strengthen practical cooperation, fulfill overseas social responsibilities, adhere to the simultaneous consideration of economic and social benefits, and make unique contributions to the national "Belt and Road" development strategy through practical actions.(Written/Photo: Wang Pengfei)
