On August 23, 2023, the “Top 250 Global International Contractors” list was released by the American Engineering News Record (ENR). Chongqing International Construction Corporation(CICO) ranked 197th on the list, consistently maintaining its position within the top 200. This marks the 11th consecutive year that CICO has been selected as the only Chongqing enterprise among the top 250 international contractors since 2013.

       It is understood that among the Chinese mainland companies submitted by the China International Contractors Association, a total of 81 companies were included in the 2023 “Top 250 Global International Contractors” list. This is an increase of 2 companies compared to the previous year, and Chinese companies continue to dominate the list.

       CICO is the earliest state-owned construction company in Chongqing to venture overseas. It has been operating in the overseas construction market for over 40 years and has an excellent reputation in the construction markets of Asia and Africa. It has maintained the highest credit rating of AAA for 12 consecutive years among Chinese international contractors and plays an important role in the city's foreign economic work.

       In recent years, CICO has always adhered to its "foreign-oriented" positioning, fully leveraging the value of being a state-owned enterprise with an outward focus. It has closely focused on the goal of building an "excellent multinational architectural service provider" and has continuously innovated approaches, models, and platforms for "going out and bringing in," constantly enhancing its market competitiveness, and contributing to the accelerated development of Chongqing as an inland open highland.
