On June 10,2020, the Chinese Embassy in Liberia held the "Together to Overcome Difficulties" health package distribution ceremony. The President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Liberia, GEZHOUBA EXPLOSIVE CO.,LTD, the  vice President and Secretary General CICO, and CHICO, the vice President and Chief Financial Officer participated in the handover ceremony as representatives.
Entrusted by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, CICO Liberia Branch, on behalf of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Liberia, began to distribute health packages to Chinese enterprises in Liberia on June 11. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Liberia expressed its gratitude for the donation from the embassy and said that while continuing to protect its own health and safety, it will actively guide and regulate Chinese enterprises to take effective anti-epidemic measures and carry out company operation in a safe manner.
On June 12, representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Liberia and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce attended the ceremony of the second batch of Chinese government epidemic prevention materials and the donation of Chinese Chamber of Commerce epidemic prevention materials to Liberia. As the representative of the Chamber of Commerce, CICO Liberia donated 300 bags of rice, 50 disinfection drums and 40 boxes of disinfectant to the Liberian government.
On behalf of China, the embassy expressed its willingness to work with Liberia to fight the epidemic and overcome the current difficulties. We believe that under the strong leadership of President Xi Jinping and President Weah, the two countries will surely overcome the epidemic and usher in the dawn.
The Liberian representatives thanked the Chinese government and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for their assistance in fighting the epidemic and expressed their hope to further expand consensus, deepen cooperation and enhance friendship with China to benefit the two countries and two peoples.
