CICO overseas development: two Ethiopian road projects of US$134 million awarded in succession.

CICO adheres to the overall planning of pandemic prevention and control and overseas market development, grasps both hands, corrects both, and accurately implements policies. It has achieved good results in winning two road projects and successfully entering the new market of Ethiopia.
On July 21, CICO received the letter of award from the Ethiopian Roads Authority regarding the two bidding sections of the Design, Improvement Works and Management and Maintenance Services for the Nekemte - Bure Road Upgrading Project under an Output and Performance Based Road Contract (OPRC) [Design-Build-Maintain]. The awarded bid amounted to US$134 million, marking CICO finally made a substantial breakthrough in the Ethiopian market, which the group has tracked for many years. The winning project is divided into three parts: design, construction and management and maintenance. The construction period is 8 years, of which the design and construction period is 3 years, and the management and maintenance period is 5 years. The source of project funding is the World Bank.
