The Design Institute is a directly-affiliated business unit of CICO. It holds Class A qualification in the construction industry (construction engineering) and Class B qualification in municipal engineering (roads, water supply, and drainage). The Design Institute boasts a vibrant, combatant, and innovative design team that dares to face various challenges, with a distinctive corporate culture. Since its establishment, it has always attached great importance to architectural creation, promoted technological progress, vigorously expanded the market, and continuously improved design quality. It has completed a number of design works across the country, receiving widespread recognition and praise from users.

Currently, there are nearly 200 registered architects of the first and second grades, registered structural engineers of the first and second grades, registered water supply and drainage engineers, registered HVAC engineers, registered electrical engineers, senior engineers, engineers, assistant engineers, and relevant professional designers. It is a professional team with strong creativity in proposals and operational experience in project design.
